Newsletter: June 2024

Patrick Campbell • 6 June 2024

Today marks 80 years since D-Day, during which we remember those who served. Sadly, we won’t see the Spitfire in our skies today, so we’ve chosen this picture.

Here’s the latest from the team in June:

Events

Kube Medical | LPS Events Massage

We’re delighted to be supporting various LPS Events this summer. The first event was the Spring triathlon at Lake 62 near Ashton Keynes. Evie was on site throughout the event, offering appointments to participants and spectators.

We’ll be back for the evening triathlon on Wednesday 19th June and the summer event on 30th June.

We’ve booked some exciting new events in the coming months:

  • Infant clinic will be running on 18th June and 2nd July from 1-3pm. Our paediatric trained practitioners will be on hand to discuss your circumstances at this free drop-in session. There’s no need to book.
  • After a successful session in March, Sarah Shah: Menopause Coach will be at the clinic again on 12th and 26th June from 7-8.30pm. This will be a free session for patients to better understand the journey of peri/menopause and the support available.

Last minute massage

Don’t forget, we’ll release our last minute massage availability here each week.

Focus on Vitamin B12

In recent weeks, we’ve seen a lot of enquiries about Vitamin B12. We’ve got an extensive information page about this essential vitamin, as well as multiple treatment options.

We offer blood testing to help diagnosis, a variety of supplements and vitamin boosters.

Symptoms of B12 deficiency include:

  • extreme tiredness or weakness
  • lack of energy
  • pale skin
  • heart palpitations
  • lack of appetite
  • disturbed vision
  • sore of the tongue
  • mouth ulcers
  • weight loss
  • depression
  • impaired cognitive functions

Wishing you all health, happiness and prosperity from all the team at Kube Medical.

Every so often, I come across someone who’s been told, or believes, they have cervical kyphosis. It’s a term that sounds serious and often sparks fear, confusion, or a sudden identity shift: “I have a curved neck; I must be broken.” Today, I saw just that—someone on social media seeking help after self-diagnosing with cervical kyphosis.
